Ahead of its release on VOD and Digital HD on April 10th, We Summon the Darkness is summoning up some mayhem in its fun new trailer.
Coming to us from Saban Films and director Marc Meyers (My Friend Dahmer), the film is set in 1988 and follows three best friends attending a metal show. After meeting some dudes in the parking lot, the group heads back to one of their homes for an afterparty. But with the country in the grip of a Satanic killing spree, the night of fun and debauchery quickly takes a deadly turn…
Alexandra Daddario (Texas Chainsaw 3D), Maddie Hasson (Mr. Mercedes), and Amy Forsyth (Channel Zero: Dream Door) star in the Satanic Panic-inspired flick, which was written by Alan Trezza (Burying the Ex). Keean Johnson (Alita: Battle Angel) and Johnny Knoxville also star.
We called the film a “mightily entertaining crowd-pleaser” in our review out of Fantastic Fest. See for yourself by watching the new trailer below!
