At the end of last year, it was announced that the directors behind Starry Eyes would be helming the reboot of Pet Sematary. Now, we have the first cast announcement with reports confirming that Jason Clarke is in talks to star.
The 1989 was a creepy re-telling of the terrifying Stephen King novel, so this reboot has huge boots to fill if it is to hit the same scary heights as Mary Lambert’s original. With Kevin Kolsch and Dennis Widmyer in the director’s chair, we think that Paramount is off to a great start and if Clarke does agree to star, they have an actor that is more than familiar with starring in intense films like Zero Dark Thirty, Everest and Winchester in his back catalogue.
More as it comes!
