The spectacular first trailer for The Conjuring 2 was unleashed last week and it was a treat. Embodying much of the same style, suspense and atmosphere as its predecessor, we could be for another modern horror classic that will take the box office by storm when the sequel is released later this year.
Focusing on the real life tale of a family tormented by a poltergeist, The Conjuring 2 sees Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga) investigating some more paranormal activity. Take a look at the poster (right) which shows Lorraine clutching a rosary, further tapping in to the film’s concern with religion. You’ll remember that a host of crosses were turned upside down in the trailer.
The Conjuring 2 will be unleashed in the USA on 10th June and in the UK on 17th June.
