If you wondered whether there was going to be a fourth addition to the deadly Purge franchise, then let us confirm that there will be. With the first 3 films having grossed well over $300m on their measly $23m budget, I can imagine we are going to be Purging long into the future.
We thought The Purge: Election Year was great fun when it was released last summer and were particularly impressed with its high-octane suspense and generally entertaining foray into action. You can check out our review right here.
James DeMonaco is confirmed as The Purge 4’s director, but there is no word on whether Frank Grillo will return or what new route this Purge will take. We wonder what title this new Purge will adopt.
The Purge 4 will be released on 4th July 2018 courtesy of Universal Pictures.
