Reports re coming in that production is being delayed on David Gordon Green’s Halloween sequel. Fear not, because production is set to begin in January 2018 – rather than October 2017 – so, the film could still make its planned 19th October 2018 release date.
Jamie Lee Curtis is due to return to the film in her role of Laurie Strode and she recently tweeted some enticing pictures to tease that return. John Carpenter – who you may know directed the original 1978 Halloween – has been on-board as an executive producer since the project’s inception, and recently confirmed that he is to provide the score. We also learned recently that Judy Greer (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Jurassic World) is in talks to co-star as Laurie’s daughter Karen.
David Gordon Green will direct the film which has been co-written by Danny McBride. They’re an odd pair for this new Halloween, but we can’t deny that we’re extremely excited to see this film hit our screens in 2018. Keep your eyes peeled for more cast announcements; more as it comes.
