Will this be another Cloverfield spin-off or is this honestly a standalone sci-fi-horror film that comes from J.J Abrams’ production company Bad Robot? After the news of Overlord not being a Cloverfield sequel, we realise that jumping to conclusions and assuming such things will achieve nothing.
So, I present to you: Bad Robot is developing a new feature film that is titled Aporia. It is described as a sci-fi drama with time travel elements and will be directed by The Ballad of Lefty Brown’s Jared Moshe.
Bad Robot are developing a dedicated Cloverfield sequel, but is this it? The franchise’s last addition The Cloverfield Paradox was dire, so all we want is a decent follow-up that doesn’t feel like an already average sci-fi shoe-horned into the Clover-verse. Is that too much to ask?
Along with Bad Robot, Neda Armian will produce. That’s all we know, so feel free to speculate away!
