According to The Hollywood Reporter, which broke the news: “In the adaptation of Stine’s kid’s book, a quiet town is upended when young Mike and his friend Amy watch a horror movie called Zombie Town and unexpectedly see the title characters leap off the screen and chase them through the theater.”
Henry Czerny (Ready or Not), Scott Thompson (Hannibal), Bruce McCulloch (The Kids in the Hall), Marlon Kazadi (Child’s Play), and Madi Monroe (Attaway General) will also star in Zombie Town, which is currently shooting in Ontario. The film is expected to premiere in theatres in the U.S. before coming to Hulu and then ABC Australia in 2023.
