A Little Back Story…
Based in sunny South Africa, Crystal Lake Publishing was founded in 2012 by Joe Mynhardt. Joe is a huge fan of anything scary, weird, different, and fantastic. He grew up reading horror books and sneaking out of his room at night to watch horror movies. Yes, that’s where the name ‘Crystal Lake’ came from.
In 2016, Joe quit his day job as a primary school teacher and became a full-time publisher.
