Director Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day, Freaky) is back with We Have a Ghost, a comedy-horror adventure that looks like fun for the whole family.
In We Have a Ghost: “Finding a ghost named Ernest haunting their new home turns Kevin’s family into overnight social media sensations. But when Kevin and Ernest go rogue to investigate the mystery of Ernest’s past, they become a target of the CIA.”
David Harbour (Stranger Things) plays the titular ghost of the film, starring opposite Anthony Mackie (Synchronic). The cast also includes Tig Notaro (Army of the Dead), Jennifer Coolidge (Promising Young Woman), Jahi Di’Allo Winston (The Dead Don’t Die), Erica Ash (Horror Noire), Isabella Russo, Niles Fitch, Faith Ford, and Steve Coulter.
In addition to directing, Landon wrote the screenplay for We Have a Ghost, which is based on “Ernest,” a socially mediated ghost story” written by Geoff Manaugh and published on Vice in 2017. The film is set to premiere on Netflix on February 24th.
