A remake of the classic 1983 vampire movie The Hunger is in the works over at Warner Bros.
Deadline reports that Angela Robinson (True Blood) is in final talks to direct the film. The script is being written by Jessica Sharzer (American Horror Story).
Based on the novel The Hunger by Whitley Strieber and directed by Tony Scott, the original film starred Catherine Deneuve, David Bowie, and Susan Sarandon and centres around a gorgeous immortal vampire who promises her lovers eternal life. When her current partner, a cellist, begins to rapidly deteriorate, she sets her sights on a scientist who specialises in blood.
