The anticipated Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead crossover has finally been revealed! On Sunday’s episode of Talking Dead it was confirmed that Morgan (Lennie James) would be moving from The Walking Dead to Fear The Walking Dead, so the crossover is more than just 1 character having a cameo in the other series.
James will make his debut in Season 4 of Fear the Walking Dead at some point in 2018, permanently moving to the spin-off series. It’s unclear how he will make his move to the other show, but as Fear The Walking Dead’s timeline is earlier than TWD he could, in theory, die in TWD and still appear in FTWD. This would give the opportunity to fill in gaps in his character’s storyline.
With audience figures for TWD continually decreasing, we’re sure that AMC hopes that this crossover may entice people back to the shows. Only time will tell. Look out for the crossover episode in 2018.
