Halloween isn’t going to look the same this year—which is all the more reason to stay home and watch horror! To help people get in the spirit early, Shudder is launching a bumper 61-day Halloween celebration, with numerous new Shudder Originals and Exclusives, along with old favourites, hitting the streaming platform between September 1st and October 31st.
In the UK, this will kick off with the arrival of David Slade’s 30 Days of Night and Toa Fraser’s The Dead Lands on September 1st. We can also look forward to the Shudder Exclusive films The Wind (dir. Emma Tammi) and Glenn Danzig’s cult horror film Verotika on September 3rd and 24th respectively (The Wind will also be available to stream in Canada, and Verotika in Canada, the US, and ANZ). And on September 17th, Kurtis David Harder’s superb queer horror-thriller Spiral, a Shudder Original, will release in the UK, US, and ANZ.
Other titles coming to Shudder UK this Halloween season include Jennifer Kent’s The Babadook and Terence Fisher’s The Mummy. So, stock up on fun-size treats and plan some spooky (and safe!) nights in.
