A short and very sweet teaser has been unveiled for the upcoming TV series adaptation of Wolf Creek. It is only 20 seconds long, but we have our first look at John Jarratt as serial killer Mick Taylor; cowboy hat and all, and the leading lady Eve (Lucy Fry – Vampire Academy).
It’s a very beautiful little tease that captures a glorious sun-soaked desert landscape. The beauty, however, is short-lived as our eyes adjust and we see that Eve is mourning the loss of her family; three crosses are built for each of the loved ones she has lost. Cue some sunny vengeance.
Synopsis:
Wolf Creek, a six-part drama series, is a psychological thriller set in the world that fans of the films will recognise – but this time things are different. At first the pattern is familiar: Mick Taylor targets an American tourist family to terrorise and destroy. But the tables are turned when 19-year-old Eve survives the massacre and starts to rebuild her shattered existence by embarking on a mission of revenge.
