Sheds are just inherently a bit creepy, aren’t they? A small shelter at the bottom of the garden, far enough away that no one could hear the occupant scream? Creepy. And even if they don’t have a person chained up in them, which they probably all do, then you know they’re full of spiders.
Point is, sheds are a great location for a horror film—and writer-director Frank Sabatella (Blood Night: The Legend of Mary Hatchet) is taking full advantage of that fact with his new horror movie, The Shed.
In The Shed, high school student Stan (Jay Jay Warren) discovers that a murderous vampire is living inside his abusive grandfather’s tool shed. But when his best friend suggests they use the creature to get revenge on their bullies, things take a far more sinister turn.
RLJE has acquired distribution rights for The Shed, which will U.S. theatres on November 15th. The film will be released digitally on the same day.
