Shudder has dropped the official trailer for Spoonful of Sugar, a new original horror movie from director Mercedes Bryce Morgan—and it’s micro-dosing something sinister…
In the film: “A disturbed babysitter experiences a sexual awakening while using LSD to alternatively treat a seemingly ‘sick’ child from a family with dark secrets of their own.”
We called Spoonful of Sugar “unhinged” in our review after it made its world premiere at Fantastic Fest in 2022, noting that the film “feels like a movie you’ve seen before, right up until it doesn’t.” Morgan Saylor, Kat Foster, Danilo Crovetti, and Myko Olivier star.
