A new trailer has been unleashed for Trash Fire, a horror-comedy from director Richard Bates Jr. (Excision, Suburban Gothic) and, again, it explores a strange world within suburbia.
Synopsis:
When Owen is forced to confront the past he’s been running from his whole adult life, he and his girlfriend, Isabel, become entangled in a horrifying web of lies, deceit, and murder. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll be scarred for life.
The promise of crying, laughing and being scarred for life is unsurprising for a film from Bates Jr., whose previous flicks have marvellously blended horror with comedy. The awkwardness levels are high in the trailer for Trash Fire as the couple are faced with a truly uncomfortable and terrifying stay at Owen’s family home.
We’re definitely excited to see the film’s events escalate into sheer terror and madness and we hope you are, too. Trash Fire stars Adrian Grenier, Angela Trimbur and Fionnula Flanagan and will be released in the USA on 4th November.
