Don’t you just hate it when your partner starts barking like a dog and you have to put them in the basement? That’s – more or less – the concept at the centre of the dark comedy Bitch. When Jill gets sick and tired of being the perfect housewife while her husband works 18-hours a day at the office – while having a fling with a co-worker – she finally snaps and adopts a new canine personality.
The trailer shows a sharp feminist agenda, but smothers the story in plenty of humour to make sure it doesn’t take itself too seriously. It looks fun, dark and rather timely. Check it out below.
The blunt titled Bitch comes from writer-director Marianna Palka and stars Caroline Aaron, Eric Edelstein, Kingston Foster, Jason Ritter and Ren Hanami. The film will be released in the USA on 10th November 2017.
