There’s an Unpleasant Present in the Trailer for Crepitus

Posted on: September 15th, 2017

If It tickled your clown fancy, but you’re after more, then perhaps the new trailer for Crepitus will entice you. The story follows two young children who’ve recently moved into their deceased grandfather’s house with their alcoholic mother, but things get considerably and increasingly chilling when they are tormented by the spooky house and a cannibalistic clown called Crepitus. Did we add that Bill Moselely plays the clown?

The trailer shows chilling moments involving the painful parent-child relationships, but also showcases thrills and frights surrounding the very scary clown. We love the blend of real-life horror in the home as well as the extra layer of fear slathered on with Crepitus, as well as the general chilling look of the house itself. It looks grisly and gory, so Crepitus has effortlessly settled in a place among our most anticipated horror films of the year.

Crepitus will be the feature debut of director Haynze Whitemore and the script has been co-written by himself, Eddie Renner and Sarah Renner. The behind-the-scenes shots give you a taste of what the cast and crew have been upto and it looks like it’s going to be terrifying!

Crepitus additionally stars Eve Mauro, Chalet Lizette Brannan, Frederick George Stuhrberg and Darren Barcomb and has a released date slated for 15th October in the USA.
