Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga will be reprising their roles as Ed and Lorraine Warren in the upcoming second sequel to Annabelle.
Mckenna Grace and Madison Iseman star in the film that comes from a script written by It’s Gary Dauberman. Grace, who can currently be seen in Netflix’s excellent, chilling adaptation of The Haunting of Hill House, will play the role of the Warrens’ daughter Judy. Iseman will play the role of an unlucky babysitter who, we assume, bears witness to the terrifying torment of the doll.
Though an official synopsis has yet to be revealed, we’ve been told that much of the film will take place in the Warren’s “Haunted Museum” (the room in their house where they store all the cursed objects from their cases). It’s no surprise to see them playing a role, but we do know that they will not be leads.
This will be the first time the Warrens have appeared in one of the Conjuring spin-off films and we hope it’s not their last. Annabelle 3 will be released on 3rd July 2019. Hopefully it’s better than The Nun…
