“THE WALKING DEAD: DARYL DIXON” PREMIERES FIRST TEASER

Posted on: June 25th, 2023

Sunday June 18th saw AMC premiere the next chapter of The Walking Dead saga with the season premiere of The Walking Dead: Dead City.

Whilst the jury is still mostly out on how the new series fared, one thing has gotten fans talking. The spin-off premiere was the perfect time for the network to share a tease from their adjoining spin-off, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.

Focusing on Norman Reedus’ wildly popular titular character, the teaser shows Reedus floating alone atop an upturned boat in a vast ocean. Simple, short, and effective, AMC continue to keep their cards close to their vest as to what events will transpire in the show.

Cast alongside Reedus in this next chapter are actors Clémence Poésy and Adam Nagaitis in co-leading roles. Joining them in supporting roles are Anne Charrier, Eriq Ebanouey, Laika Blanc Francard and Romain Levi. The series is described as follows:
“Set after the series conclusion of TWD, the Reedus-led offshoot finds the zombie apocalypse fan favorite transported across the Atlantic to France and a whole new level of a world gone mad. Poesy will play the female lead Isabelle, a member of a progressive religious group, who joins forces with Daryl on a journey across France and finds herself confronting her dark past in Paris. Nagaitis portrays Quinn, a displaced Brit who has become powerful in post-apocalyptic Paris as a black marketeer and the owner of the Demimonde, a sexy underground nightclub.”

Whilst Daryl Dixon doesn’t currently have a premiere date, we will let you know as soon as one is announced. You can check out the teaser below:
