Kyle Gallner, who appeared in this year’s Scream reboot, has been cast in Blumhouse Television and EPIX’s upcoming thriller film The Passenger.
Johnny Berchtold (The Look-See) will also star in the film, which will be directed by Carter Smith (The Ruins). The script was written by Jack Stanley.
According to Deadline, The Passenger “follows Randolph Bradley (Berchtold) who is perfectly content fading into the background, but when his coworker Benson (Gallner) snaps and goes on a violent killing spree, he’s forced to face his fears and confront his troubled past in order to find a way to survive.”
Gallner has been making quite a name for himself in horror, starring in The Cleansing Hour, The Haunting in Connecticut, Jennifer’s Body, and Red State. He also had a role in 2010’s A Nightmare on Elm Street remake.
