Horror and the cold go hand-in-hand in the trailer for the Russian thriller Break. When a group of young folk head to an old funicular for a unique NYE celebration, their worst fears are realised when they become trapped at the top of the mountain. As their fears of the height and the cold seep into their minds, they start to turn on each other as their hopes for survival deteriorate.
Break comes from Russian director Tigran Saakyan and stars Irina Antonenko, Andrey Nazimov, and Ingrid Olerinskaya. As you’d expect, the trailer looks a lot like Adam Green’s Frozen – which I am a huge fan of – so I will definitely be keeping an eye out for Break when it is released next year.
Break will be released in Russia this January, hopefully it will arrive on our side of the world soon.
