FX has tapped Stephen Susco to adapt Robert McCammon’s bestselling horror novel Speaks the Nightbird for a potential series. The novel centres around a 17th century witch hunt in the Carolina colonies.
Susco is best-known for penning The Grudge and The Grudge 2. More recently, he wrote and directed Unfriended: Dark Web. Mark Wolper, Kevin Natusow, Shay Prentice, and Kevin Nicklaus will produce the series.
