More bad news for fans of The Purge. Not only has the USA Network canceled The Purge TV series, but Universal has pulled the fifth film in the franchise from the release schedule.
Titled The Forever Purge, the film was originally set to hit theatres on July 10th, 2020. James DeMonaco, who created the franchise, wrote the script, with Everardo Gout directing. Ana de la Reguera (Cowboys & Aliens), Leven Rambin (The Path), Cassidy Freeman (Smallville), Tenoch Huerta (Tigers Are Not Afraid), and Will Patton (Halloween) star.
