Filmmaking duo Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (Ready or Not) are directing the upcoming fifth instalment in the Scream film series—and the cast is growing by the day! Jack Quaid (The Boys) is the latest actor to sign up for a trip to Woosburgh.
He joins the previously announced Jenna Ortega (Insidious: Chapter 2) and Melissa Barrera (In the Heights). In terms of returning cast, Courtney Cox and David Arquette have confirmed they’ll reprise their roles as Gale Weathers and Dewey Riley respectively. No word yet on whether or not Neve Campbell will return to play Sidney Prescott.
Scream 5 was written by Guy Busick and James Vanderbilt. Paramount Pictures plans to release the film in theatres on January 14th, 2020.
