A SXSW teaser has been released for Two Pigeons; a comedy-thriller that sees a man reap revenge on an Estate Agent by moving into his home and messing with his life. The teaser shows a clever scene of cross-cutting where Orlan (Javier Botet) – the guy seeking revenge – fiddles with Hussein’s (Mim Shaikh) toothbrush and mouthwash. Oh, the humanity!
We love the playful tone that is quickly shifted into something more sinister during the final shot. We definitely look forward to seeing what else this secret house guest gets up to; hoping that it goes to some very dark places.
Synopsis:
An oily, amoral estate agent is preyed upon by one of his victims, who quietly moves into his flat and, unseen, begins a deliciously malicious campaign of revenge. Two Pigeons is a dark comedy with a sinister streak.
Two Pigeons is the feature film directorial debut of Dominic Bridges (Shelfstackers) and the script has been written by himself and Rae Brunton (Outpost).
Two Pigeons will be screening at the SXSW film festival from 10th March-12th March 2017.
