A frustrating, but smart, teaser trailer has been released for the much-anticipated sequel to Outlast. We don’t’ really want to spoil the surprise, but we will tell you that the teaser promises there is more to come and hints that the reckoning will begin on 22nd April, so expect more footage then.
Synopsis:
No conflict is ever black and white. But once the dust has settled, the victors get to decide who was right and who was wrong. Who is good and who is evil. Human nature pushes us to extremes of violence and depravity, which we then justify by divine inspiration and a promise of paradise to come. Horror rises from desperation and blind faith. OUTLAST 2 will test your faith, pushing players to a place where going mad is the only sane thing to do.
Not much is known about the plot of the game sequel, but it will take place at a point after the Mount Massive Slaughter. If you’ve not played Outlast yet, then we urge you to do so. It’s one of the best first-person survival horror games currently out there.
Outlast 2 has a release date slated for this Autumn, so not long to go.
