It’s been a whole 2 years since Hannibal drew to a sad and expected end, but the Fannibals live on. A fan on Twitter asked show-runner Bryan Fuller when the promised August update would arrive and he replied with:
“Conversations couldn’t start until 2 years after the final airing of season 3. [The De Laurentiis Company] has started those conversations. This takes time.”
So, there you have it. It has begun, but it is going to take time until we hear a solid update on a potential revival or continuation of Hannibal. Hopefully the talks will move in a promising direction, because we know that Fuller, Mads Mikkelsen and Hugh Dancy are keen for more, but where could a Hannibal S4 find a home?
All we can do is sit tight, hold our breath and hope we get the continuation we desire and deserve.
