A spooky new trailer has been released for the supernatural thriller The Tormenting from writer-director Jaspreet Kaur. The film stars Laura Mitchell, Steve Baran and Eric Schweig. The Tormenting follows Amy (Mitchell) as she is tormented by terrifying hallucinations that show a young girl’s last living moments. As time goes on, Amy realises that the girl’s spirit is asking for hell to cross over.
The synopsis is quite familiar, but the trailer showcases plenty of terrifying moments that suggest the film is going to be appropriately creepy. We love the film’s blend of the real and the surreal, particularly enjoying how bold the film is when showcasing its scares.
The Tormenting will be available on DVD and VOD from 31st October, so will make for the perfect watch this Halloween.
