It seems fans of the Alien franchise are getting quite spoiled of late, as not only do we have the Hulu original film Alien: Romulus in production, but the FX television series is also powering forward.
This past week it was announced that FX alum Sydney Chandler will headline the series. Chandler has previously been seen on the network’s Danny Boyle helmed drama Pistol, detailing the rise of the punk band The Sex Pistols, where she played the supporting role of singer Chrissie Hynde. On the big screen, Chandler was most recently seen in the controversial Olivia Wilde directed Don’t Worry Darling, starring Harry Styles and Florence Pugh.
Character details are currently unknown as the project is currently shrouded in secrecy. Originally confirmed in December of 2022, the show will be helmed by Fargo’s Noah Hawley.
It is rumoured that Hawley will begin discussions of set design and commence location scouting later this year, following the completion of the fifth season of Fargo.
With so much secrecy surrounding this FX series, it is definitely one we will be on the look out for any further updates to.
