The first official trailer has been unleashed for Hangman, the latest horror outing from Brit writer/director Adam Mason (Broken, The Devil’s Chair) and is currently packing its bags in preparation for this year’s SXSW Film Festival.
The film finds a family return from their holidays only to find their house has been broken into. The thought that someone has been inside their house and ruffled through all their personal belongings leaves them perturbed but cleaning things up helps them sweep their concerns under the rug and get back on with their lives. Unluckily for them, whoever ransacked their home wasn’t just looting the place and has much darker intentions for the Miller family, as you can see in the trailer below.
Hangman stars Jeremy Sisto (May, Wrong Turn), Kate Ashfield (Shaun of the Dead), Ty Simpkins (Insidious), Ryan Simpkins, Eric Michael Cole and Amy Smart and premieres at SXSW 2015 as part of the Midnighters strand on Saturday, March 14th 2015.
