The CW has acquired the rights to the supernatural police drama Dead Inside which will follow a deceased police officer as he teams up with his living sister to help crime victims; both the living and the dead.
Dead Inside will be written by Katie Lovejoy who wrote the NBC series Dracula back in 2013. Most recently, she wrote and produced the Pilot episode of the drama series Miranda’s Rights with Daniel Boileau and Rebecca Breeds.
Lovejoy will also executive produce the series with Bill Lawrence, who has written a ton of TV series like Rush Hour, Cougar Town, Ground Floor and Spin City.
Keep your eyes peeled for more. We’re certainly intrigued by the premise and if the series doesn’t take itself too seriously and has fun with the story, this could be an interesting and original new show for us to binge. And we can’t complain about that!
