Arachnophobes beware! Sting is on the loose, and he’s not your average spider.
Seeming to take a cue from Evil Dead Rise, Sting tells the tale of a young girl who takes on a seemingly normal household spider as a pet. However, something is very off about her new pet, whom she names Sting… Not only can the spider mimic her sounds, but he appears to grow much faster than normal.
Needless to say, carnage soon follows as Sting grows to monstrous proportions and escapes into the apartment house’s vents.
The huge gooey beast sets about picking off the neighbours one by one as he crawls up walls and across ceilings with alarming speed.
Kiah Roache-Turner writes and directs a tale that is sure to make audiences more than a mite squeamish. Sting will hit theatres on April 12th, and you can check out the trailer below:
