Christmas is coming early for horror fans this November! Following monster box-office hauls, two of 2024’s biggest horror hits are heading to PVOD very soon.
Parker Finn’s critically lauded sequel Smile 2 will hit VOD platforms on Tuesday November 19th, after raking in over $110 million at the worldwide box-office. The impressive haul after less than a month in theatres is undoubtedly why Paramount have opted to send it home early.
Starring Naomi Scott, Lukas Gage, and Kyle Gallner, Smile 2 follows a pop star as she tries to combat the deadly “smile” curse amidst her hectic celebrity lifestyle.
Premiering slightly later, but with some equally impressive accolades to display, Damien Leone’s juggernaut Terrifier 3 will land on digital platforms Tuesday November 26th.
The three-quel sees Art the Clown return to torment the residents of Miles County once more as they prepare to celebrate Christmas.
On a budget of just $2 million, Terrifier 3 has managed an incredible $60 million at the US box-office. This gives Leone’s film the distinction of being the highest grossing unrated film in history. Furthermore, it’s gross places Terrifier 3 on the list of top grossing independently released films, alongside the likes of Longlegs and Halloween.
