On Twitter, the official Suspiria account has been teasing the release of a new trailer for a while, but today, they’ve finally unleashed it. The trailer is superbly sinister, filled with gloriously twisted imagery and moments laced with dread. It looks very different from Dario Argento’s Suspiria and I’m beginning to think that’s a good thing.
Synopsis:
A young American ballet dancer travels to a prestigious dance academy in Europe, only to discover it is something far more sinister and supernatural. She becomes increasingly terrified after a series of gruesome murders ensue and she slowly unravels the dark history of the academy.
Suspiria stars Dakota Johnson, Tilda Swinton, Chloë Grace Moretz, Mia Goth, Sylvie Testud and Angela Winkler. The film will be released on 2nd November 2018, courtesy of Amazon Studios.
