Keiichiro Toyama, the former PlayStation developer behind Siren and the iconic Silent Hill, revealed to IGN Japan recently that his next project will be a horror action-adventure game that will include battles and story elements and appeal to fans of his previous work!
“If anything, this will be more of a horror-oriented game,” Toyama told IGN. “But we will focus on making this a broader entertainment experience, rather than a hardcore horror game.”
Back in August, Toyama co-founded Bokeh Game Studio with Kazunobu Sato. They’ve put together a “fairly large” team to work on the game and plan to develop with PC as the lead platform, though they also hope to release it on “as many console platforms as possible.”
The game, which is still in the very early stages of development, is slated for a 2023 release.
