Fans of the series Preacher will be glad to know that the show has been officially renewed for a season 3. The news comes from the show’s co-creator and executive producer Seth Rogen, who took to Twitter to confirm the renewal.
The second season expanded to 13-episodes and has received generally positive reviews. It’s certainly a very fun – and very controversial in parts – series and is led by a great cast that includes Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga and Joseph Gilgun.
Rogen and Evan Goldberg have hinted that the third season will delve in to Jesse Custer’s (Cooper) past. As Preacher is based on a series of comics, there’s still plenty more story for the show to cover. Season 2 introduced us to the character Pip Torrens, played by Herr Starr, and she added even more humour.
Expect a third season of Preacher to land in 2018.
