IFC has dropped the official trailer for See for Me, a home invasion thriller starring visually impaired actor Skyler Davenport.
Davenport plays Sophie, a young blind woman house-sitting at a secluded mansion who finds herself under invasion by thieves seeking a hidden safe. Her only means of defence: a new app called “See For Me.” It connects her to a volunteer across the country who helps her survive by seeing on her behalf. Sophie is connected to Kelly, an army veteran who spends her days playing first-person shooter games. Sophie is forced to learn that if she’s going to survive the night, she’ll need all the help she can get.
See for Me was directed by Randall Okita and written by Adam Yorke and Tommy Gushue. The cast also includes Kim Coates (Resident Evil: Afterlife), Jessica Parker Kennedy (Black Sails), Pascal Langdale (Killjoys), Joe Pingue (Antiviral), George Tchortov (Designated Survivor), Laura Vandervoort (V-Wars), and Emily Piggford (Hemlock Grove).
IFC will release See for Me in theatres and on VOD platforms in the US on January 7th, 2022. No word of a UK release date just yet. In the meantime, check out the trailer below!
