We’re just a couple of weeks away from the release of the hugely anticipated tenth Saw entry, and Lionsgate have given us our best look yet at the gruesome sights in store!
In a series of newly released stills, we get a taste of the gore awaiting us, and it certainly doesn’t disappoint.
Another intriguing image shows new lead Synnøve Macody Lund as Dr Celia Pedersen, the unwitting “miracle worker” who chooses to scam John Kramer. In the photo she is shown looking distressed with blood staining her arms up to the elbow. Is it possible we’re going to see a test akin to Amanda Young’s brutal rooting around in her cell mate’s stomach? Or could the good doctor have been forced into an impromptu medical procedure.
Finally, we have a decent look at Tobin Bell’s John Kramer and Shawnee Smith’s Amanda Young. Both are kitted out in their jigsaw robes and look suitably sinister and ready to cause mayhem. It certainly is good to see them again!
Saw X will release on September 29th this year, and, taking place between parts 1 and 2 of the series. The film will detail John Kramer’s journey to Mexico City for a “miracle cure,” in a last-ditch attempt to beat his cancer. Unfortunately, he has been conned by a faux medical team, and wants to make them pay.
