Demonic horror film Sator has been acquired by 1091 Pictures for North American release.
Written, directed, edited by, and starring Jordan Graham, Sator made waves when it debuted at the Fantasia International Film Festival last year. The plot follows a demon known as Sator observing an intimate family secluded in the woods.
Michael Daniel, Aurora Lowe, Gabriel Nicholson, and Rachel Johnson star in the film, which also features June Peterson, Graham’s own grandmother, now passed, recounting her real personal history with the mysterious entity.
The deal was negotiated by Lev-Avery Peck for 1091 Pictures and Yellow Veil Pictures on behalf of the filmmakers. Sator is set for a winter release.
