Samara Weaving is reuniting with Ready or Not directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett! She’s the latest to sign on to star in Scream 6, along with Tony Revolori (Servant, Spider-Man: Homecoming).
Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett wanted Weaving for this year’s fifth instalment in the franchise, but scheduling issues prevented it. Weaving told Collider back in 2020 that it was a “bummer” she couldn’t do the film, so we’re thrilled to see her in the sequel.
Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Jenna Ortega, Hayden Panettiere, and Courteney Cox are all returning for Scream 6, which will see the survivors of the Ghostface killings leaving Woodsboro behind to start a fresh chapter in New York City. The cast will also include Dermot Mulroney (Insidious: Chapter 3), Jack Champion (Avatar: The Way of Water), Liana Liberato (The Beach House), Devyn Nekoda (Ghostwriter), Henry Czerny (Ready or Not), and Josh Segarra (Arrow).
