My Friend Dahmer star, Ross Lynch, has joined the cast of Netflix’s still untitled series based on The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. He has also featured in the TV series Austin & Ally. Lynch has been cast as Sabrina’s love interest Harvey Kinkle, the role last played by Nate Richert in the ‘90s series with Melissa Joan Hart.
Acting as a spin-off of the series Riverdale – which is airing currently on 5Star in the UK and on Netflix – Sabrina stars Kiernan Shipka in the role of Sabrina Spellman. She is joined by Lucy Davis, Michelle Gomez, Chance Perdomo, Jaz Sinclair and Miranda Otto.
The Rosemary’s Baby-The Exorcist-esque series has been greenlit for 2 seasons; each with 10 episodes and has been tonally compared to The Exorcist and Rosemary’s Baby. Riverdale director Lee Aguirre-Sacasa will direct and executive produce the series, with Robert Aguirre-Sacasa serving as a writer and executive producer.
