The release of Netflix’s psychological thriller series Mindhunter is only a mere few days away and the second and final trailer has now been released. It’s only a minute long, but it wonderfully encapsulates the series’ focus on understanding the craziness that lies in the minds of killers. It’s fast faced in a completely non-traditional way and opts for a very fitting choice of song with Talking Heads’ Psycho Killer. We’re impressed.
Netflix’s original series is based on Mark Olshaker and former special agent John Douglas’ 1996 book Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit, which dissects the details of some of Douglas’ most high-profile cases, including those of the Atlanta child murderer and Seattle’s Green River killer.
Mindhunter will premiere on Netflix on Friday 13th October and has episodes directed by David Fincher, Andrew Douglas, Asif Kapadia and Tobias Lindholm.
