Paul Tremblay (A Head Full of Ghosts, The Cabin at the End of the World) is working on his next horror novel.
Titled The Pallbearer’s Club, the novel will be the first book in the three-book deal that Tremblay recently signed with William Morrow. The story centres around a less-than-successful middle-aged man reflecting on his long-ago involvement with a group who served as volunteer mourners at the funerals of people with no family or friends—and the mysterious person he met along the way who changed the course of his life irrevocably.
The Pallbearer’s Club is slated to be released in the summer of 2022. In the meantime, a film adaptation of Tremblay’s novel A Head Full of Ghosts is currently in the works from director Scott Cooper (Antlers).
