Rossif Sutherland (Possessor), son of Donald Sutherland and half-brother of Keifer Sutherland, has been cast in Orphan: First Kill.
The prequel to Jaume Collet-Serra’s 2009 film Orphan, Orphan: First Kill will see Leena Klammer (Isabelle Fuhrman) orchestrating a brilliant escape from an Estonian psychiatric facility and travelling to America by impersonating the missing daughter of a wealthy family. But Leena’s new life as “Esther” comes with an unexpected wrinkle and pits her against a mother who will protect her family at any cost.
William Brent Bell (The Boy) is directing the prequel film, which was written by David Coggeshall (The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia). The cast also includes Julia Stiles (Dexter).
