Cranked Up Films has acquired the anthology horror Nightmare Cinema. The film features stories from directors Mick Garris, Joe Dante, Ryuhei Kitamura and Alejandro Brugues.
Synopsis:
A series of down-on-their-luck individuals enter the decrepit and spine-chilling Rialto theatre, only to have their deepest and darkest fears brought to life on the silver screen by The Projectionist – a mysterious, ghostly figure who holds the nightmarish futures of all who attend his screenings. By the time our patrons realize the truth, escape is no longer an option. For once the ticket is torn, their fate is sealed at Nightmare Cinema.
Anthology films can be a bit hit-and-miss, but hopefully the majority of these 5 segments are scarily good.
Cranked Up Films will release the film in March 2019 and then the film will hit the horror streaming service Shudder for all you SVOD fiends.
