Production is getting underway on Sand and Stones, a post-apocalyptic survival thriller, and Nicolas Cage (Mandy, Color Out of Space) is among the cast!
Jaeden Martell (It, Mr. Harrigan’s Phone), Maxwell Jenkins (Lost in Space), and Sadie Soverall (Fate: The Winx Sage) will star alongside Cage in the film, which will be directed by Ben Brewer (The Trust).
According to Deadline, Sand and Stones is “set in a post-apocalyptic and sparsely populated world where Paul (Cage) and his twin teenage sons, Joseph (Martell) and Thomas (Jenkins), have managed to claw out an existence, yet live in constant fear. Until, confronted by imminent danger, they must execute a desperate plan to survive.”
Mike Nilon (Braven) wrote and will produce Sand and Stones, which comes to us from Highland Film Group.
Production will take place in Dublin, Ireland.
