Hold on to your hats, because apparently we are in for another reboot for A Nightmare on Elm Street. New Line Cinema have expressed their interest in bringing Freddy back to the big screen, and disregarding the 2010 remake in the process. Thank goodness for that.
David Leslie Johnson, the writer of 2009’s Orphan, is currently tapped to pen the screenplay and is currently working on the much-anticipated The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist.
I’m dubious about this remake at the moment, but if it truly takes off I am keen to see who takes up the mantle and steps in to Freddy’s shoes. No one can be better than Robert Englund, surely?
