The second season of Locke & Key hasn’t even premiered yet, but Netflix has already ordered a third helping of the fantasy horror show.
Based on the comic book series of the same name written by Joe Hill and illustrated by Gabriel Rodríguez, Locke & Key centres around the three Locke siblings and their mother. When the family moves into their ancestral home, Keyhouse, they discover it is full of magical keys that may be connected to their father’s death…
Meredith Averill, Carlton Cuse, and Aron Eli Coleite created the series for Netflix. The cast includes Darby Stanchfield (Scandal), Connor Jessup (Closet Monster), Jackson Robert Scott (It), Emilia Jones (High-Rise), Bill Heck (The Alienist: Angel of Darkness), Laysla De Oliveira (In the Tall Grass), Griffin Gluck (American Vandal), and Thomas Mitchell Barnet.
Season two of Locke & Key is expected to arrive sometime in 2021, though as right now, no firm premiere date has been set.
