Netflix is an unstoppable wave of content and it is showing no signs of slowing down the offering of its original programming. The streaming giant has now ordered 10 episodes of The Order; a series that will follow a student who joins a secret society called The Order. Once there, he uncovers magical secrets and a war between the dark arts and werewolves.
The Order has been created by Dennis Heaton and Shelley Eriksen, who will also co-write the script. Heaton is a co-writer of the bonkers 2006 zombie-comedy Fido, as well as a writer-producer on 2017’s Ghost Wars. Eriksen has previously worked on the series Continuum and 2007’s Blood Ties, so this will be the pair’s first collaboration.
So far, The Order has Sarah Grey, Matt Frewer, Sam Trammell, Max Martini and Jake Manley starring. No word on a release date yet, so keep an eye out.
